ABOUT ME
Growing up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, my life was consumed by sports at an early age. For as long as I can remember, I’ve aspired to be a play-by-play announcer, specifically in hockey. I idolized the voices of Gary Thorne, Pat Foley and Mike Emrick, hoping to emulate their success at the craft.

My professional journey began when I broke into the journalism industry by covering the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League through their “Writing Chance” program when I was 16 years old.

In college, I studied broadcast journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and called over 60 games for the Illini Hockey club (ACHA D-I). I was also selected to broadcast the 2018 and 2019 ACHA D-I National Tournaments. I served as the play-by-play voice for the quarterfinal, semifinal and championship rounds both years.

At the same time, I was credentialed as a writer by the National Hockey League working for Last Word On Sports, covering the St. Louis Blues.

Throughout the 2018-19 season, I was brought onto The Athletic St. Louis staff, where I served as a digital content assistant. I also co-hosted, produced and edited a podcast with fellow writer Jeremy Rutherford, focusing on the St. Louis Blues.

I currently serve as the Director of Broadcasting and Communications for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League. I've broadcasted over 100 regular-season games over the last two years while running the team's social media and marketing departments.
